چکیده
Abstract Aims Conversion of natural mixed forests into monoculture plantations results in a loss biodiversity, and consequently leads to serious ecological problems (e.g. soil acidification fertility declines) by controlling the quantity quality litter entering soil. Plant diversity understorey is most important component aboveground biodiversity plays critical role sustainable development plantations. Thinning has been proven effective promoting regeneration plants, studies have targeted effects thinning on single index species richness) The functional phylogenetic are less addressed, however, which could limit full understanding maintenance potential processes community assembly integrally after thinning. Location Northeast China. Methods We chose young middle‐aged larch ( Larix kaempferi ) based time (short term, 1–3 years; medium 4–9 long 10 years or longer), quantified structure regenerated woody plants understorey, related environmental factors (canopy openness nutrients). Results Functional richness evenness decreased over two types plantations, term divergence was significantly lower. At short thinning, higher canopy while closely phosphorus content changed from dispersion clustering had significant relationship with conditions light availability both plantations), highlighting that filtering gradually became main driving force understorey. Conclusion under influence availability, played crucial community. Our study expands research considering time, provides new insights management

on translation of politeness strategies in dialogues involving female characters in translations and retranslations of novels translated before and after the islamic revolution of iran and their effects on the image of women: a polysystem theory approach
abstract reception environment has considerable effects on accepting a translation. as the expectations of a target culture and its values and needs change throughout history, its criteria for accepting a translation or rejecting it will change accordingly (gentzler, 2001). the expectations of iran, as the reception environment in the present study, have changed after the islamic revolution. i...
the effects of planning on accuracy and complexity of iranian efl students’ written narrative task performance
this study compared the different effects of form-focused guided planning vs. meaning-focused guided planning on iranian pre-intermediate students’ task performance. the study lasted for three weeks and concentrated on eight english structures. forty five pre-intermediate iranian students were randomly assigned to three groups of guided planning focus-on-form group (gpfg), guided planning focus...
15 صفحه اولthe effect of functional/notional approach on the proficiency level of efl learners and its evaluation through functional test
in fact, this study focused on the following questions: 1. is there any difference between the effect of functional/notional approach and the structural approaches to language teaching on the proficiency test of efl learners? 2. can a rather innovative language test referred to as "functional test" ge devised so so to measure the proficiency test of efl learners, and thus be as much reliable an...
15 صفحه اولFunctional and phylogenetic diversity of woody plants drive herbivory in a highly diverse forest
Biodiversity loss may alter ecosystem processes, such as herbivory, a key driver of ecological functions in species-rich (sub)tropical forests. However, the mechanisms underlying such biodiversity effects remain poorly explored, as mostly effects of species richness - a very basic biodiversity measure - have been studied. Here, we analyze to what extent the functional and phylogenetic diversity...
